KRISHNENDU POREL  Born in 1965.

Graduated from Govt. college of art & craft, Calcutta in 1991, 1st class 1st gold medalist.

Post graduated in painting from Benaras Hindu University with 1st class, Silver medalist in 1994.

Residency in Germany  in 1999.

Participated in all major group shows in India since 1985

 Major Auction:

2007: Auction of Indian Contemporary Art in London organized by Bonham’s, London, and Curetted by: Dr. Alka Pande & Mr.Aman Nath. 

Had 16 solo shows including a solo at  Museum Heylshof , Worms, Germany in 2007
