Hemraj


Hemraj is an Indian artist based in Delhi who was born in 1968. He studied painting at the College of Art in New Delhi from 1987 to 1993, earning his bachelor's degree in 1991 and his master's degree in 1993. His work includes paintings, sculptures, and photography, and he works primarily in oil. His style is reminiscent of Sufism, with an abandon and gaiety that refers to the divine as a lover, teacher, giver, and keeper. 
Hemraj has had several solo shows and group exhibitions in India, and his work has been featured in prestigious galleries such as the Bill Lowe Gallery in America and the Galleria Muller and Plate in Germany. His work has been auctioned multiple times, with prices ranging from $4,236 to $15,466, depending on the size and medium of the artwork.
